Re: Banned (open proxy)

Hey Dee,

If you are still having issues, please send me a private message with your IP so I can check the status of the removal and possibly add an exception for your host. If you don't remember your IP, visit www.whatismyip.com.

Thanks.

Re: vhost question

Wikipedia's definition of vhost extends beyond IRC into the DNS world.

For IRC purposes, a vhost simply conceals your real host name. It would be linked to your nick. You can login from any location under your nick, and the vhost will still work.

Re: Exceeded Session Limit

We should be able to set an exception for your IP.

Please send me a private message here on the forums with these details:

1.  The maximum number of simultaneous connections you intend to have from your IP
2.  The IP address or host name that you need an exception for

Thank you

It appears you were able to connect today.

I have requested removal of the IP address you were inititally unable to login with. Removal from blacklists can take up to 48 hours.

Your vhost has been set.

Login to IRC, identify to your nickname, and type /msg hostserv on to activate the vhost.
